Company History

Westcountry Business was formed in 2002 by Jon Roberts, former Head of Information Systems for International minerals company Watts Blake and Bearne & Co. PLC (WBB, now part of the Sibelco group)

After 16 years service with WBB, as a result of a merger, Jon turned down the option of relocation to remain in South Devon and form Westcountry Business. While at WBB, Jon had travelled extensively, working in many countries and gaining invaluable business experience.

Chosing not to relocate committed Jon to making a long term success of Westcountry Business. That is a view that has shaped our Business Philosophy. We know we need our clients to keep coming back, so we always work with their best interest in mind.
